A pipe rupture safety device is used wherever special protection is required against the consequences of a sudden drop in pressure due to pipe or hose ruptures. If the permissible pressure difference is exceeded, i.e. in the event of a sudden increase in oil velocity caused by pipe or hose rupture, the valve plate closes the outlet opening and thus stops the movement of the consumer. The compact construction form allows easy installation directly at the consumer connections.
