LOCTITE 5205 is a medium strength (tensile shear strength 3 N/mm²) methacrylate based surface sealant offering semi-flexible properties. The product is used for sealing machined, torsionally rigid metal flanges, is anaerobically curing and is suitable for gap sizes up to 0.25 mm. Typical application is as a ""formed -in-place"" surface seal for gear and engine housings.
