LOCTITE 221 is a methacrylate-based threadlocker for low-strength connections with small threads up to max. M12. Typical times to achieve hand strength are 25 minutes on steel, 20 minutes on brass, and 210 minutes on stainless steel. The low-viscosity product with a breakaway torque of 8.5 Nm is used for threaded connections that must be easy to dismantle with normal hand tools.
