LOCTITE 290 is a medium/high strength liquid threadlocker for securing and sealing threaded connections.
Due to its low viscosity and high capillary action, the product penetrates into the thread interstices without the need to loosen the connections first. The product cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents independent loosening and leaks caused by shock and vibration. The product can also fill porosities in welds, castings and sintered metal parts.
