The flat blue dripper not only helps to identify the anti-siphon technology, but, this technology considerably increases the accuracy of the dripper, by which the dripper's labyrinth mechanism wraps inside the dripper, whereas the round dripper of the labyrinth comes into direct contact with the warm PE pipe, which allows it to have a higher variation in flow rate. This previously described process and technology allows the Amnon dripper to operate with a very low coefficient of variation of 3% and provides a very high emission uniformity of 95%. Anti-Syphon (AS) technology is ideal not only for standard irrigation, but also for drip irrigation under the surface (Subsurface Drip Irrigation, SDI) thanks to the special design in the inlet of the dripper. The drain flow of the AMNON AS is reduced and therefore the suction power of the drip line is also reduced. This reduction in suction prevents soil from entering the dripper from the outside, as the drippers become air-insulated. The recommended filtration is 130 microns.
