The wiper rings have the task of preventing the penetration of dust, dirt, sand grains and metal chips. This is achieved through their special shaping. This largely prevents scoring, protects the guide parts and extends the operating life of the seals. An oversize in the diameter ensures a tight fit in the groove recess and thus prevents the penetration of foreign bodies on the outer diameter of the wiper.
