We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions for you. In response to these questions, we explain to you the advantages of the winkler online shop or what you need to keep in mind when using the online shop. If you do not find the answer to your question here, you can contact your winkler technical specialist in your area at any time.

How do I find the spare part I need?

The search function of the winkler online shop is the quickest way to get the right results to your query and offers you countless professional filter options to limit the search results. Our search function works like a search engine, which means that you can also search for a combination of terms, for example “V-belt AVX”. You can simply separate the search terms with a space.

You can also search for the reference number of a specific vehicle or item manufacturer. Enter the number you have on file without any special characters or spaces. You can use an asterisk symbol, “*”, as a wildcard for more than one unknown letters or numbers, or use a question mark, “?”, for a single unknown letter or number.

You can further limit the results shown using filters (e.g. length, diameter or connection type).

Can I search for my own item number?

If the technical specialists have your material numbers and the numbers are stored in the system, you can also search for these numbers. If you have any questions, please contact your winkler technical specialist.

Can I also search for items that belong to a certain vehicle?

Yes, if you enter the vehicle name or vehicle type together with your search term, separated by a space, e.g. Actros brake pad.

How do I compare items?

The item comparison function allows you to compare two different items using a clear tabular overview of their characteristics. You can add any product in the online shop to the comparison list by clicking the “Compare” button on the item. The “Comparison” menu item will then take you to a table that opens in a new browser window so that you can keep searching in the online shop.
The overview shows all of the products you have added next to one another and compares their characteristics, such as price, dimensions, installation location, and brand.
You can highlight one item as the basis of comparison. This will make it easier to spot the differences between this item and the others in the table. Once you have found the correct item, you can add it to one of your shopping lists or directly to your shopping cart with one click.

What is most important when it comes to buying batteries?

1. Used batteries can be returned to the point of sale free of charge.
2. The end user is legally obligated to return used batteries.
3. This information sheet contains definitions of all the symbols found on the batteries.

How do I find the safety data sheets for my item?

Use the search function of the online shop to search for the item you want. Next, call up the item’s detail page, where you can find more information on availability and the shipping options. The product details are listed on the bottom of the page. If the item has a safety data sheet, you can find it on the “Downloads” tab.

Can I get any information from a technical database?

The RMI database provides you with technical data and information about the repair and maintenance of around 9,000 commercial vehicles. All values and data correspond to the original information from the manufacturer and are continually updated. If you would like to test RMI TRUCK for free, please contact your winkler technical specialist.
The trial version is valid for 14 days. Once this period of trial access elapses, there is no automatic contractual commitment. For more information, click here.

Why can’t I log in to the RMI database?

If you did not end your last session using the “Log out” button, you may experience technical difficulties the next time you try to log in. In this case, please contact your winkler technical specialist. To ensure that you can log in again after your session, use the “Log out” button on the RMI interface.

How do I redeem an online shop coupon?

If you have received an online shop coupon from us, you can redeem it during the order process. To do so, click “Redeem coupon code” in the “Payment method” step. Enter the code in the field. Make sure to enter the code correctly, including capital and lowercase letters. When you move to the next step, the coupon value is activated and subtracted from the total order value in the order confirmation.

Can I create my own shopping list, for example to assign certain items to my vehicles?

You can save items for the maintenance interval of your vehicle, maintenance and care products, or employee equipment in personal shopping lists.
You can edit these lists at any time. Spare parts and maintenance parts that are regularly required can be reordered collectively or individually from these lists. Your lists are stored in the “My Account” area under “My Shopping Lists” or in the menu on the right side of the page. The lists can be searched by keyword or number. You can add multiple spare parts or workshop items at once via file upload. To do so, start by creating a list in the shopping list area, then download the file template as a CSV file, fill it out and save it. Then you can upload the filled-out template using the “CSV Upload” button. You can read more about our shopping list function here.

Do you also accept international orders?

The winkler online shop is currently only available for customers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland.
For orders placed from other countries, please contact your winkler technical specialist.

Is there a minimum order amount?

In general, there is no minimum order amount in the winkler online shop.

Can I see my previous orders anywhere?

Once you log in, you can see your outstanding and completed online orders in the “My Account” area in the “My Orders” tab.

Is the online shop secure?

Careful handling of personal data is important to us. All personal data that you provide us with when placing your order is protected against third-party access and is only used within the winkler Unternehmensgruppe. We use SSL encryption to protect against unauthorized access during the order process. For more information about data protection, click here.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs differ depending on the shipping method you choose as well as the type and size of the selected items. If you place multiple orders on the same day, the indicated shipping costs for each shipping option only apply once. Please note that an island surcharge may apply.
